On 27 March 2024, Daniel Cheung of Zhong Lun Law Firm (a Solicitor-Advocate with 16 years of experience) will provide an informative Seminar on Immigration issues, with a particular focus on the requirements to sponsor foreign migrants as well as some recent and imminent changes happening in April 2024.

 

You are welcome to ask Daniel any question prior to the Seminar and he will answer your query during the Seminar without mentioning any names or other confidential information.

 

The topics to be covered at the Seminar include:

 

  • Changes to the minimum income requirement for partners increasing to £29,000 from £18,600.

  • The minimum salary for Skilled Workers will increase to £38,700 from £26,200 per annum.

  • How employers can apply for a Sponsor Licence and the documents required to be submitted.

  • How employees can apply for a Skilled Worker visa.

  • Possibility of applying for a UK visa if one has previously overstayed, or has previous immigration refusals or a criminal record.

  • Q&A: Answers to your questions that you have raised beforehand (on a no-name basis).
