Recruitment Notice: Post Completion Clerk

We are seeking an experienced post-completion clerk to join our leading Property Department in our London office.

Zhong Lun’s London office was established in 2012 and currently has a team of over 50 professionals led by six partners. Our London real estate team is comprised of lawyers who are dual qualified in both the UK and China as well as being multilingual in English, Cantonese, and Mandarin.

The successful candidate will be responsible for the following tasks:

  • Providing general support to the property team;

  • Dealing with post completion work including but not limited filing SDLT return, making application to HM Land Registry, dealing with requisitions raised by HM Land Registry, reconciling clients ledgers, preparing and sending title deeds pack to lenders and clients, closing files, dealing with request for retrieving/transferring old files and generally dealing with all post completion enquiries.

Suitable candidates will possess the following:

  • Experienced with conveyancing including new built conveyancing post completion tasks [mandatory].

  • Able to speak and write Mandarin Chinese [preferable];

  • Law graduate [preferable];

  • Excellent case management skills;

  • Proven ability to work under pressure and meeting deadlines;

  • The ability to deal with requisitions promptly and efficiently, providing excellent client care service at all times;

  • Excellent communication skills, attention to details;

  • A high energy and organized individual who is comfortable working in a busy office;

  • Able to work within a large team environment whilst still capable of working on their own initiative; and

  • Proactive and enthusiastic.
