James is a dual-qualified solicitor in England & Wales, and Malaysia. Having graduated with an LLB law degree from University College London, he now leads Zhong Lun London Office's Dispute Resolution practice, and is one of the Managing Partners at Zhong Lun's London office.

James has over 20 years of experience acting for investors and companies in the UK and internationally. His areas of expertise include breach of contract claims, warranty, manufacturing and engineering disputes, franchise litigation and risk/regulatory management.

He is a CEDR Accredited Mediator, Commercial Mediator at China Council for the Promotion of International Trade, China Chamber of International Commerce, and Member of Chartered Institute of Arbitrators (MCIArb) Committee Member of the West Midlands Branch.
